Property Services Group (“PSG”) was formed in 1998 by Messrs LeBlanc and Fernau to continue the work of its predecessor.

PSG provides an array of services to owned and third-party properties. PSG is a full-service company providing asset management, property management, accounting, accounts payable/receivable functions, engineering, maintenance, construction management and development oversight as needed to its partners and clients. Our principals participate in every aspect of the company’s operations and management. We view asset management and property management as an extension of ownership with benefits to each role. Being an owner makes us better asset managers/property managers and vice-versa.

Our principals have overseen and completed major renovations and ground-up construction of commercial properties. They have participated in land development and rezoning efforts on residential and mixed-use properties as asset managers and joint-venture partners. Our experienced staff has overseen many major repositioning projects including the gut renovation of commercial office buildings, and their major mechanical systems while maintaining tenant occupancy and day-to-day work conditions. PSG also serves as construction manager for new construction projects when needed.

In addition to the day-to-day involvement of the principals, our Director of Operations Robert Finney oversees the Westat operations of Property Services Group. He brings more than 50 years of engineering and oversight working as a chief engineer including more than 26 years in management of engineering and maintenance teams. Before coming to Property Services Group, he was Director of Facilities for Lord & Taylor overseeing 47 retail stores, a distribution facility and corporate headquarters. Prior to Lord & Taylor, Bob held a similar position at Hecht’s where he was responsible for more than 84 retail locations, three distribution centers and their corporate offices. He holds multiple engineering licenses including: Stationary Engineers Apprenticeship, IUOE; First Class Operating Engineering Course, NAPE; First Class DC Engineers License; Maryland Master HVACR License; and First Class License, NIULPE.

PSG employs more than a dozen real estate professionals including: asset and property managers, engineers, and maintenance staff dedicated to the satisfaction of our tenants, partners and clients. Our trained and experienced staff handles every part of the varied demands of real estate ownership from strategic and tactical asset management to conducting routine and preventative maintenance and all other day-to-day property operations. We administer third-party vendor contracts for all typical property related expense items in addition to other seasonal and periodic services. Our team has extensive experience developing and executing all types of capital programs for our properties including overseeing installation of major heating and air-conditioning equipment, roof replacement/repairs, paving, building structure, facade and common area upgrades, as well as third-party tenant improvements and remodeling.
